Enjoy a fine meal in a beautifully restored circa 1867 Victorian house nestled under the mossy maritime oaks of the Darien River Bluff.

Mudcat Charlie’s
Nestled on the scenic Altamaha River, this is the place to enjoy fresh local seafood, sandwiches, burgers, and spirits. Named one of Southern Living magazines top seafood dives.

Skippers Fish Camp
Located on the beautiful Darien River, in historical downtown Darien, this is the place for local seafood, BBQ, and ribs. Buckets of oysters and your favorite libation from a friendly and cozy oyster bar.

Speed’s Kitchen
Located on Speed's Kitchen Road, this pineywoods coastal restaurant is a McIntosh County fixture, despite the temporary look of the place: a couple of doublewides and trailers hooked together to make a fried seafood shrine. Crab stew, shrimp cocktails, and oyster stew are your appetizer options, and then it's on to belt-loosening entrées such as the monster seafood platter (fish, shrimp, oysters, scallops, crab, and cup of crab stew).
